About the Los Claveles Development Owners’ Association
The Development Owners’ Association, has responsibility for the fabric of the resort, the common areas including pool, gardens, bars, restaurants, reception, maintenance and employment of all the staff . They are also responsible for the management and servicing of the villas and have overall responsibility for the management of the resort.
Following a recent change in our statutes, all fully paid up owners , Club and Escriture, are members of the Development Owners Association with full voting rights.
Escritura owners, who own the legal title of their weeks and registered to the Spanish Land registry.
Club Los Claveles: whose members hold a membership certificate with right to occupy, the legal title being held by the Trustees. The Club Committee have been in dispute with WimPen and the DOA since 2015 and sadly do not cooperate with the DOA and have no involvement in managing the resort
WimPen are the administrators for the DOA and have been awarded a 6-year contract to 2028. WimPen manage villas and rentals and the combined community account on behalf of the DOA and collect maintenance fees from all owners. They are responsible for managing the resort on behalf of the DOA.
