Former Club Committee fails in court . . . again!

You may have received emails from the former club chairman and former club president. Economical with the truth as usual and they seem to have overlooked the fact that the former Club Committee was removed at the Special General Meeting in November.

Really nothing you need be concerned about. The Former Club Committee’s attempt to remove Hutchinsons Trustees through a court challenge has failed, so your Club ownership remains in safe hands with the current Trustee.

The statement that WimPen paid Hutchinson’s legal fees is untrue. Those fees were paid by us all, the Community, who under the Deed of Trust are legally obliged to indemnify Hutchisons for any such fees related to Los Claveles. Of course, this will create a significant drain on our finances for the refurbishment.
